Our fifth shop for Foyles has recently opened in Chelmsford’s new Bond Street shopping centre. The heritage and âreal” book focused shops we designed in Stratford and Waterloo have been developed to express Foyles as an omni channel, holistic brand; a 21st century book seller.
Harnessing technology, large format monitors and a video wall utilise digital in-store marketing and Foyles have also introduced mobile point of sale and a provision for customers to search and order books in store to be either delivered or collected the next day.
On entry to the store, which houses some 15,000 titles, customers are greeted with
a âwall of booksâ, a dramatic double-height book case on the left and to the right, there is a
washed oak staircase and large white feature wall with letter press âcarvedâ in relief,
illuminated stepped display shelves and digital display screens.
