HOSPITAL EXTENSION

Construction work is underway to repurpose and retrofit a 3000 sqm hotel building to medical use in London’s South Kensington.

Rather than redevelop the site, our client was keen to reuse the existing brutalist style 1970’s building and completely refurbish and upgrade the core and services to provide a modern healthcare facility fitted with world class diagnostic technology. 

The project will achieve an Excellent certified Breeam rating, reflecting our client’s sustainability commitment towards achieving net zero carbon by 2040.

Careful consideration has been given to energy and water use, health and wellbeing, pollution, transport, materials, waste, ecology and management processes.
