Nigel Green and Graeme Lusted first met whilst working with Sir Terence Conran, where they worked on Airports, restaurants, hotels and shops. They both went on to form a number of different design firms with clients ranging from fashion designers, actors and musicians to museums, art auction houses and healthcare providers.
By the end of the Noughties the world was in recession and the stars aligned to bring Graeme and Nigel back together to combine their wealth of experience to form Lustedgreen in 2009. Their first office was a table and chairs in the Royal Festival Hall, well before nomadic co-working was to become a global phenomenon. Lustedgreen are now a thriving design practice based in London, combining the partners’ experience with a close-knit youthful team of talented Designers and Architects.
Each project presents a new set of challenges, we continually reassess our approach, you can never stop learning, we may have accomplished some great projects but we’re nowhere near the finishing line.
Our passion really lies within the remodelling, refurbishment and rebirth of existing buildings and spaces. From the interior space planning within a building shell, down to the handle on the door, we design and co-ordinate projects from start to finish and that’s what we love the most, seeing spaces transform and creating places people want to be in.
A look at our case studies will show the breadth of our experience. We work on large-scale corporate developments and small independent schemes, on new interior concepts and refurbishments of existing buildings, supporting retail brands and implementing multiple fit outs. Whatever the project, whatever the budget, our approach and attitude are always the same: professional, constructive and responsive.
We provide a comprehensive design service from concept through to construction monitoring and/or supervision and completion. We can advise on a project’s feasibility in terms of site, timescale and proposed budget and are rigorous in controlling project costs, adhering to the agreed programmes and maintaining overall design direction, protecting our clients’ interests at all times.
