Pacific House

Scottish Widows

Working for Scottish Widows in conjunction with GVA project managers, this 6,600m 1980’s building in Reading, Berkshire was re-branded and refreshed to reflect current office standards. The existing airy atrium space was converted into a dynamic communal break-out space with a new central reception desk, four meeting pods and informal soft bench seating. Our primary concept was developed from the impactful naturally lit atrium space through the use of softer natural tones in washed oak plywood and multi – green hues. This was carried through to the corridors and WC’s in a simple yet effective way. The project also included new office space, building and tenant signage, along with a more open and inviting main entrance.
