Magna House Offices

Columbia Threadneedle

Working for Columbia Threadneedle in conjunction with GVA project managers, this complete Grade A refurbishment of the 25 year old 3 storey property on the London Road, Staines was re-branded and refreshed to reflect current office standards.

Covering over 26,000sq ft of office space the refurbishment covered all aspects from a new dynamic reception and entrance, enhancing the bright and airy stairway to each level, Toilets, and common areas through to each office space. The reception uses bleached Oak, large format porcelain tiles, barrisol ceilings with integral lighting, and a moulded corian desk. This includes a back lit etched artwork band based on sheets of old parchment giving reference to the Magna Carta. This same pattern is also repeated in two-tone polished armour coat wall finish behind the desk and also on floor signage panels.

Our brief also included a new cyclist shower and locker pod in the refurbished car park, and new landscaping to enhance the presentation at front of the building. A new brand identity for the Building was developed and implemented to improve recognition.
